Bloomberg recently reported on ORIX USA’s announcement that Nik Singhal will join the firm as Managing Director and Group Head of Direct Lending within the Private Credit Business, effective July 8th.
“ORIX Corporation USA has hired Nik Singhal as group head of direct lending as part of a broader reorganization the firm is undertaking to attract more external capital, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg.
Singhal, who starts his new role effective July 8, will be based in New York and will report to Jeff Abrams, group head of private credit and real estate.
He joins the firm after 14 years at BlackRock Inc., where he was most recently head of portfolio management for its US private capital group.”
