Signal Peak Capital Management, the credit focused asset management team of ORIX Advisers, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation USA (“ORIX USA”), announced the closing of a reset of a $429.2 million collateralized loan obligation (CLO), Signal Peak CLO 2018-5. Jefferies served as Lead Arranger.
Signal Peak Capital Management’s 19-member team is co-led by David Martin and Erik Gunnerson, who together bring over 40 years of investment expertise.
As of January 2024, SPCM has approximately $5.2 billion of assets under management (AUM) across CLOs and separately managed accounts consisting primarily of broadly syndicated loans and structured credit investments. The reset of Signal Peak CLO 2018-5 marks the team’s 22nd CLO transaction since inception and 2nd CLO transaction this year.
