ORIX Corporation USA (ORIX USA) announced today that the company will move its Dallas office from Comerica Bank Tower on Elm Street to the nearby Trammell Crow Center. Located in the Arts District at 2001 Ross Ave., Trammell Crow Center recently completed a $135 million renovation and expansion. ORIX USA’s new 100,000-square-foot office is expected to be ready in the first half of 2020.
“As we grow our business across the nation, we are committed to keeping our operations and investment center in the heart of Dallas and continuing to develop and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders and communities,” said Hideto Nishitani, chairman, president and CEO of ORIX USA. “Our desire was to find an office space that would help position us for growth, promote communication and encourage high engagement and productivity for our employees. We believe the Trammell Crow Center meets those needs and will allow us to attract and retain high-quality talent.”
Located in Dallas since 2004, ORIX USA’s operations and investment center houses the company’s operational support groups and investment teams including: ORIX Growth Capital, ORIX Mezzanine and Private Equity, ORIX Energy Capital, ORIX Municipal Capital, ORIX Real Estate Holdings, Mariner Investment Group, NXT Capital and ORIX Real Estate Capital. Approximately 300 employees will move to the recently renovated 50-story office tower which includes 34,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, a 9,000-square-foot conference center, a large gym and an updated lobby. The project also includes a mixed-use development across the street from Trammell Crow Center that will house a nine-story, 2,000-spot parking garage and additional restaurants.

ORIX USA also engaged HKS Architects for its interior design and Mitch Paradise with Stillwater Capital for project management. Trammell Crow Center is owned by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Stream Realty Partners serves as its leasing and property management team.
