In a survey sponsored by Lument and conducted by Senior Housing News, responses indicated that owners and operators are feeling optimistic about 2022 and beyond, even as the industry continues to deal with staffing and COVID-related challenges. Reasons for optimism include rising occupancy, new treatments and vaccines that have helped turn the tide against case counts, and the fact that many operators are now more adept at moving in residents amid the pandemic.
