Cary Dannenberg is an Associate in the Asset-Based Finance group at ORIX Corporation USA, responsible for investing and monitoring middle market credit investments. He joined the firm in 2024 and is based in New York.
Mr. Dannenberg has three years of experience in special situations. Preceding his current role, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard, where he specialized in restructuring, liability management and capital solutions transactions. Prior to Lazard, Mr. Dannenberg was an Analyst at Atalaya Capital Management, an alternative credit manager, where he focused on investing in corporate credit and specialty finance, with an emphasis on distressed equipment leasing opportunities.
Mr. Dannenberg holds a BS and BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and College of Arts & Sciences, where he graduated summa cum laude.
