Tim Kök is a Director within the Sustainability Group leading ORIX Corporation USA’s Sustainable Investment Strategies. He is responsible for originating and enabling sustainability-linked investments as well as developing and implementing corporate sustainability initiatives across ORIX USA Group. He joined the firm in 2023 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining ORIX USA, Mr. Kök was a credit risk professional who spent over 15 years structuring lending and trading solutions for clients based in America, Asia, and Europe. In particular, he worked at Morgan Stanley, Barclays, and Commerzbank. His industry expertise encompasses oil & gas, power & utilities, metals & mining, infrastructure & construction, and private healthcare. In parallel, Mr. Kök spent 8 years developing climate risk and sustainability risk assessment and mitigation initiatives at Morgan Stanley and Barclays.
Mr. Kök holds a MM from Neoma Business School in Reims, France, and has worked in New York, London, Paris, Mumbai, and Luxembourg.
