Our approach
Our parent company ORIX Group’s commitment to the United Nations Global Compact in 2014 reinforces our obligation to responsible business practices in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. Following that commitment, ORIX USA Group formalized our approach to responsible investing and the incorporation of ESG considerations into our investment process by committing to the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment in June 2022. Committing to the Principles for Responsible Investment marks the culmination of significant preparations, including integrating ESG considerations into our investment process across private market strategies. We believe that by doing so not only are we are honoring our commitment to responsible investing by seeking to effectively address ESG risks, but are also conducting more thorough analyses, striving to make better-informed decisions, and potentially creating greater long-term value for our stakeholders.
